Nagasaki Studio Nagasaki Stadium City

Nagasaki Stadium City is a private-sector project led by Regional Creation Nagasaki, a member of the Japanet Group, to develop a complex of arenas, hotels, commercial facilities, offices, and other facilities centered around a soccer stadium. In 2018, the company applied for the "Nagasaki Saiwaimachi Factory Site Utilization Project Land Utilization Business Operator Recruitment" and purchased approximately 10 hectares (7.5 Tokyo Domes) of land in the center of Nagasaki City, about a 1.5-minute walk from JR Nagasaki Station. The total project cost is approximately 1,000 billion yen, and it is expected to create 13,000 jobs. It is scheduled to open on October 2024, 10.

The area is home to a stadium with a capacity of approximately 20,000 and is the home of professional soccer club V-Varen Nagasaki, an arena with a capacity of approximately 6,000 and is the home of professional basketball club Nagasaki Velca, Japan's first stadium view hotel, a fun-filled commercial facility filled with places to eat, learn, and play, and one of the largest offices in Nagasaki Prefecture that attracts companies from Japan and abroad.
