Our staff, who are experts on Nagasaki, will answer your questions about Nagasaki's sightseeing spots, gourmet food, souvenirs, experiences, transportation, and more, and share Nagasaki's charms and information that is not included in guidebooks. The Universal Tourism Counter works in cooperation with the Nagasaki Prefecture Universal Tourism Center to provide barrier-free information on tourist facilities and accommodations, travel advice, and wheelchair rentals (for a fee). We also offer stroller rentals (Babycars can be reserved in advance) for customers with small children.

The highlight of this tourist information center is that in addition to being served by staff, customers can also obtain information about Nagasaki on their own.
We have lots of information available, including maps of Nagasaki City and Nagasaki Prefecture, various leaflets, flyers about events and experiences you can enjoy today, tourist information searches on tablet devices with speedy responses from AI chatbots, a wide selection of books to learn about Nagasaki's history and culture, and four monitors showing tourist videos and event information. It costs around 600 yen to leave your luggage in a coin locker at Nagasaki Station, but you will have to go back to pick it up, and if you add in the cost of travel there and back, it could exceed 1,000 yen.

Nagasaki Grouper Fried Meat Competition held on Sunday, April 4th

Information on the Nagasaki Grouper Fried Meat Competition to be held at Karahakkei Park from 4:6 to 10:00 on Sunday, April 15th is posted. A portion of the article from the March issue of Skymark's in-flight magazine "Sora no Ashiato" is also posted.

A wide variety of traditional patterns

The various designs, mainly red, blue and white, each have their own meaning and are connected to the history of their introduction from overseas and the present. All of them can be purchased at "Omoriya" near Meganebashi Bridge and "Ogawa Kite Shop", which is also a Hata museum in Kazagashira Park.

Access information to the tournament venue

The venue, Tohakkei Park, is about a 25-minute bus ride from the south exit of Nagasaki Station. *Please note that there will be no parking lot at this year's event.
