Higashi Yamate Koju Sanbankan Higashiyama Tekou Jusanbankan

A typical Western-style building in a foreign settlement where you can also enjoy a cafe at the entrance of Oranda Slope.

A blue Western-style building built in the mid-Meiji period on the west side of Higashiyamate's Dutch Hill. This is a representative building of a foreign settlement where Mr. Andre Boucri, the French surrogate consul, lived from the early to mid-Showa period. It is a two-story wooden building with a hipped roof, and was designated as a nationally registered tangible cultural property in 2, and is also known as a filming location for commercials.

When you first pass through the archway of the entrance, you will be greeted by the ``Heart Leaf,'' a tree pruned into a heart shape, on the left side of the garden. It is a popular photo spot where students on school trips and couples gather.

The second floor of the retro building is a space where you can imagine how the residents lived at the time, with photographs and furniture on display. The view including Holland Hill can be seen from the large balcony, and the view is amazing!
At the cafe on the first floor, which is a popular resting spot for sightseeing on the slopes, you can enjoy Dutch coffee and castella sandwiches and relax.
You can also take a commemorative photo wearing a retro dress from the settlement era, or rent it out for pre-wedding photos or parties.

There is also a tourist information corner and a souvenir sales corner inside the building, so it is a recommended spot that you can easily stop by.
