Nagasaki Kenbijutsukan Nagasaki Prefectural Museum of Art

It houses some of the best Spanish art in the East and art related to Nagasaki. A relaxing museum in harmony with nature.

An art museum in harmony with nature, located in a corner of Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park.
The modern building was designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma.

This space, which has won numerous awards for its architecture and lighting, is a free space other than the exhibition room, and features an entrance filled with natural light, a corridor that lets in a pleasant breeze, a cafe overlooking the water, and a rooftop garden overlooking Nagasaki Port. We offer people the joy of new discovery and creation.

The collection features art related to Nagasaki and Spanish art.
The collection of Spanish art, including Picasso and Dali, is based on a private collection called the Suma Collection, and is one of the largest in Asia.

The museum shop inside the museum carries a wide variety of highly designed items, including original tableware made from Hasami ware, the local porcelain, and goods created by local artists.

In addition, the cafe, surrounded by glass walls and with a great view, offers menus made with locally sourced ingredients that can also be taken out.
It's open until 8pm, so you can have a relaxing time.
