Kazagashira Koen Sakura Festival Kazagashira Park Cherry Blossom Festival

A park where you can see the Sakamoto Ryoma bronze statue and a wonderful view. Every year, 350 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are lit up with bonbori lights and the ``Kazegashira Park Cherry Blossom Festival'' is held.

Located 3 kilometers east of Nagasaki Station, this park is built on Mt. Kazeto, which has an altitude of 151.9 meters, and is a popular spot for fried grouper among local residents.
There is a bronze statue of Ryoma Sakamoto in this park, and the view from there is spectacular.

It is also known as a famous flower spot, where you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and hydrangeas in early summer. In spring, the ``Kazegashira Park Cherry Blossom Festival'' is held, with 350 Yoshino cherry trees lit up with lanterns. During the festival, there will also be a bazaar and karaoke competition.
