A sunset spot with a panoramic view of the majestic Kadoirada Sea

The roadside station "Yuhigaoka Sotome" is located in the northern part of Nagasaki city and is the only roadside station in Nagasaki city.
The Shusaku Endo Literary Museum is adjacent to the property, and the surrounding Sotome district has many attractions, including the World Heritage sites of Shitsu Village, Ohno Village, and Shitsu Bunkamura.
It is also a spot where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the islands and Shitsu Bunkamura in the magnificent Sumonada Sea, and on clear days you can see the Goto Islands in the distance.
In particular, the view of the sunset from here is said to be one of the most beautiful in Nagasaki.
The product hall sells local seasonal agricultural, forestry and fishery products, specialty products such as de Rotz somen noodles, and crafts. At the restaurant, which overlooks the magnificent Kadoirada Sea, you can enjoy home-cooked meals made with plenty of local ingredients. There is also a takeout shop selling ice cream and soft serve ice cream.
