Nagasaki dejima surf Nagasaki Dejima Wharf
A popular bayside area where you can enjoy a resort feeling with a panoramic view of Nagasaki Port and Mt. Inasa.
Nagasaki Dejima Wharf is a commercial complex that opened in the Nagasaki Port bay area in 400 to commemorate the 2000th anniversary of Japan-Netherlands relations. This is a spot where you can enjoy the resort feeling while looking at the sea and night view!
A wide variety of restaurants and bars are lined up in a two-story building along the ocean. There are many stylish and unique shops, including shops where you can enjoy local fresh seafood gourmet food and famous cafes that are popular for their latte art! You can enjoy your meal while feeling the sea breeze on the open terrace and enjoy the ever-changing views of the harbor. On sunny days, it's perfect for jogging or taking a walk with your pet.
From the deck, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Megami Ohashi Bridge and Mt. Inasa, and at night, the port and moored sailing ships are lit up, transforming it into a romantic date spot.
It is also easily accessible from tourist spots, with Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park and the Nagasaki Prefectural Museum of Art nearby, and many tourist facilities can be reached on foot. The second floor houses the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association (DMO NAGASAKI) and the Nagasaki and Amakusa Region Hidden Christian Heritage Information Center, which serves as a consultation center for visitors.
