Inasayama Mt. Inasa

Enjoy the romantic night view that shines as one of the world's new top three night views

It is a landmark of Nagasaki City and a popular photogenic spot that is crowded with people watching the night view.
The cone-shaped topography surrounded by mountains around Nagasaki Port, known as the Port of Cranes, creates a unique three-dimensional night view and is known as the ``1,000 million dollar night view.'' In recognition of its beauty, it was selected as one of the "World's New Three Great Night Views" along with Monaco and Shanghai at the 2021 "World Night View Summit in Nagasaki". In addition, Nagasaki City, including Mt. Inasa, was re-certified as one of Japan's New Three Great Night Views at the Night View Summit 2022 in Sapporo.
The observation deck has a floor studded with lights, creating a fantastic space. In addition to the night view, during the day on a clear day, you can see not only the city of Nagasaki, but also Unzen, Amakusa, and the Goto Islands.

Inasayama Park, known for its azaleas, is popular with people throughout the year as a place of relaxation and recreation. There is an event plaza and an outdoor music hall halfway up the hill, where concerts by Japan's leading artists and various other events are held.

You can enjoy a 360-degree aerial walk from the glass gondola and the ropeway that connects the base of the mountain to the top. Additionally, in 2020, a slope car began operating that connects the Mt. Inasa mountainside parking lot to the summit in about 8 minutes. The slope car, which is designed to be in harmony with nature and moves slowly, is a popular vehicle at the moment as it offers a different view than the ropeway.
