The 72nd Kyushu Council Research Conference and General Meeting of the National Association of Public High School Administrative Staff was held at Nagasaki Brick Hall on Thursday, June 12th and Friday, June 13th, 2025. This conference was held in Nagasaki for the first time in seven years, and over 200 administrative staff from prefectural schools throughout Kyushu participated. Each research presentation demonstrated the creativity and ingenuity of each prefecture, making the event extremely meaningful for participants. In addition, a World Café was held as part of the planning training, allowing participants to share information related to their daily work through interactions with administrative staff from other prefectures. Furthermore, the information exchange session on June 12th, which took advantage of Nagasaki's unique features, was well-received, especially by participants from outside the prefecture.
For this tournament, we established the tournament executive committee one year in advance, and many staff members have been working hard to ensure the success of the tournament. We also received a lot of guidance and support from the Nagasaki Prefectural Board of Education and other related organizations. We believe that the success of the tournament was due to the efforts of the staff, the support of everyone, and the cooperation of the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association. The Kyushu Council Research Conference of the National Association of Public High School Administrative Staff is a research conference held annually in a different prefecture in Kyushu.
For this Nagasaki conference, we have reviewed the usual distribution of participation tickets, arrangement of lunch boxes, special lectures, etc., and have decided to hold a different content from previous conferences, such as holding an information exchange session for the first time in six years and holding a World Café for the first time at a Kyushu research conference. We hope that these will be utilized to hold an even more attractive conference from next year onwards.

 

Nagasaki is often a relatively far-flung destination for people from Kyushu, but we were pleased to have so many people attend. Nagasaki is a fascinating city with a distinctive historical and cultural atmosphere, and we were pleased to be able to convey its charms to the participants through this research conference and information exchange meeting. We also believe that the staff and participants within the prefecture were able to reaffirm the charms of Nagasaki Prefecture.
