2025The 7th Japan Home Healthcare Association Conference was held on June 14th and 15th, 2019, at Dejima Messe Nagasaki in Nagasaki City. A wide variety of topics and issues in home health care were discussed through a diverse program. Thanks to your support, we were able to welcome approximately 4,000 participants and finish the conference in great success. In addition, the public screening of "The Time to Put Away Life" on the final day was attended by approximately 300 members of the public, who responded very well, making it a very fulfilling two days for the organizing committee.

The theme was "Let's talk about the future of home medical care - Facing the 2025 problem and preparing for 2040." In preparation for 2025, when the baby boomer generation will be over 75 years old, efforts have been made to build a "community-based comprehensive care system." However, the working population has declined significantly, and we are facing a difficult situation. In order to overcome this crisis, this conference aimed to summarize home medical care up to 2025 and show the way to the coming year of 2040. We encouraged the promotion of hospital doctors' participation in home medical care, deepening the construction of a community-based comprehensive care system, and encouraging discussions that not only focus on collaboration between hospitals, clinics, and home care, but also involve non-professionals and the general public. We also deepened our discussion on the use of ICT to further promote information sharing in response to the shortage of human resources and uneven regional distribution.
