The 42nd Kyushu Regional Conference of the Japanese Society of Surgical Nursing was held at the Venex Nagasaki Brick Hall, marking the first time the conference has been held in Nagasaki in several years. While we initially expected around 500 people to attend, we had 636 participants from both within and outside the prefecture.
The venue was filled with more enthusiasm than expected, with some participants having to stand at times, indicating the high level of interest.

The conference was titled "Creating the Future of Surgical Nursing as a Team - Growing Together, Moving Forward Together" and featured a rich program with 17 general presentations, 4 poster sessions, corporate exhibits by 32 companies, and advertising sponsorship from 10 companies.
Every session was filled with many questions and lively exchanges of opinions, making this a very meaningful conference supported by the enthusiasm and spirit of inquiry of the participants.

This time, the conference was held at Venex Nagasaki Brick Hall, which is close to the center of Nagasaki city and has many commercial facilities nearby. As the conference was held on the first day of a three-day weekend, we felt that participants were able to fully enjoy Nagasaki while also participating in the conference with a travel-like atmosphere.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association for their support in holding the tournament.
