The 2025nd Annual Meeting of the Kyushu/Okinawa Regional Chapter of the Japanese Pressure Ulcer Society was held at Nagasaki Brick Hall on Saturday, May 5, 17.
On the day of the conference, medical professionals from various professions from within and outside Kyushu and Okinawa gathered together for academic exchange to share knowledge and techniques in pressure ulcer care.
The traditional landmark of Nagasaki Brick Hall served as the stage for a fruitful academic conference, featuring co-sponsored seminars and corporate exhibitions.
We will continue to strive to contribute to the development of academic and cultural activities in Nagasaki.

Nagasaki, the birthplace of Western medical education, is steeped in a rich history that combines medicine and human love. The theme of this conference, "Healing Techniques with Heart: Toward the Essence of Pressure Ulcer Care," embodies our desire to inherit the Nagasaki spirit while reexamining the nature of healing in modern medicine. We believe that participants were able to experience not only the conference, but also Nagasaki's streets, which are steeped in history and exotic atmosphere, as well as local cuisine and culture, providing a time of "healing" through all five senses. During the conference, we were able to once again realize the importance of the connection between medicine and the community through introductions to Nagasaki products and local culture.

The success of this event is the result of the warm support of the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association and the understanding and cooperation of the local community, for which we are truly grateful. We highly recommend working with the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association, as they are always happy to assist with even the most detailed inquiries.
