The conference was held over two days, September 9rd and 23th, at Dejima Messe Nagasaki, with the theme of ``Surviving in the new era - become a bridge for local medical care, pharmacists!''. In recent years, due to the effects of the new coronavirus, the event has been held online or in a hybrid format, but this time it was held only in person. Although I was a little worried, there were 24 participants in the tournament, and I'm really glad that it ended without any major problems. On the day of the event, an event commemorating the 2st anniversary of the opening of the Shinkansen was also held at the same venue, and it was very crowded. The tournament was well received by the participants.
　In addition, social gatherings had been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but we were able to hold them this time. It was a great reunion with participants from other prefectures, and we had a great time.

　For the past few years, the event has been held online or in a hybrid format, but in part because the new coronavirus infection has been lowered from Category 2 to Category 5, we have decided to hold it in person this time. I felt that connecting the attractiveness of the venue with the concept of the academic conference and spreading its value is an important point to further increase the conference's appeal and ability to attract customers. Recently, it has become mainstream to announce academic conferences on SNS, so we have created a promotional video (PV) for the conference to let people know about the great things about Nagasaki. We disseminated the conference PV on YouTube and Instagram in an effort to get participants interested in Nagasaki. This PV was very well received as it allowed participants who did not have time to sightsee to experience the best of Nagasaki.

　Nagasaki is undergoing redevelopment once every 100 years. The area around Nagasaki Station is expected to become an even more attractive place. This time, the venue, Dejima Messe Nagasaki, is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and high-speed Wi-Fi to host academic conferences and events. It was well-received by participants from other prefectures, as it was conveniently located right next to the station, and had easy access to hotels, food, and sightseeing spots. As mentioned earlier, I believe that combining the appeal of Nagasaki with the concept of the gathering and increasing added value will lead to greater satisfaction among the participants.
