Enjoy the lantern lights and eat your fill of Nagasaki with food stalls and gourmet food on the go!

During the Lantern Festival, there are limited gourmet foods that can only be enjoyed at this time and place. Many of them are just delicious arrangements of Nagasaki's famous specialties. We will introduce three of them this time. The first is "Chocolate Mafaal." Mafaal, a popular Chinese confectionery in Nagasaki, commonly known as "Yoriyori," is covered in chocolate. This is a special product limited to the Chinese New Year period, presented by Suzhou Lin, a long-established Chinese food and confectionery store. The second is "Shrimp Cheese Hatoshi." Yamaguchi Catering, which provides the Nagasaki specialty Hatoshi, will be selling a version of the popular "Shrimp Hatoshi" with cheese inside at a limited-time stall. Cheese and shrimp go well together, so be sure to try it. The stalls may change locations every year, so searching for the shops is also one of the fun parts. The third is "Chikuwa No Isobeage" from Ishibashi Kamabokoten, located in Shinchi Chinatown, right next to the Minato Park venue. This is also available for a limited time. The freshly fried taste and the taste of the sea are outstanding. Apparently, they sell as many as 1,800 pieces in a single day. They often sell out, so be sure to buy them early.

1. Suzhou Lin has carefully considered the balance between chocolate and Mafaru, and has created a special product with its own ratio and size. It is a special product that looks good too.

2. At the stalls around the venue, they sell them in bags or by the bottle, and they are so popular that there are always long lines.

3. "Shrimp Cheese Hatoshi" from Yamaguchi Catering. A Lantern Festival exclusive flavor of "Hatoshi", one of Nagasaki's specialties that is also used in takubuku cuisine!

4. Take-out items that can be enjoyed with one hand. Perfect for the Lantern Festival, where the main focus is on walking around!

5. Ishibashi Kamabokoten's "Chikuwa Noribeage" will be on sale exclusively from the first day to the last day of the Lantern Festival. The freshly fried aroma will tickle your nose.

6. The skewers are one-handed, making them perfect for eating on the go. The products are sold individually.

7. It's located in Shinchi Chinatown, so it's easy to access the other venues. During the Lantern Festival, the opening hours are special, and the Isobe-age may be sold out, so please make inquiries in advance.
