If you want to take the most photogenic gourmet photos in Nagasaki, this is the place to go! Nagasaki has a lot of great looking gourmets, but one that I especially recommend is Cafe Olympic. Not only the typical Nagasaki Turkish rice, but also the large parfaits are very impressive! Why not take some memorable photos to remember your time in Nagasaki?

The same delicious taste and size. A Nagasaki flavor loved by everyone!
Hamamachi is a place where Nagasaki citizens come and go. Hamamachi Arcade is said to be the busiest shopping street in Nagasaki, and is affectionately known as Hamamachi Shopping Street. In fact, this arcade is one of only two national arcade roads in the country. Cafe Olympic was founded in 2 (Showa 1963). The name of this restaurant is said to have been chosen in honor of the Tokyo Olympics and rapid economic growth. The classic Turkish rice is a dish of pasta, pilaf, tonkatsu, and sauce, like a children's lunch for adults. And above all, we recommend the parfait. The parfait that you ate with your family, on a school trip, and after school will welcome you again. Please try the famous large-sized Turkish rice and parfait!
1. It is located on the second floor of Nakamise-dori Street in Hamamachi Arcade, about 20 minutes by tram or bus from Stadium City.
2. The parfait on the sign is so huge it doesn't fit in one photo
3. Nagasaki Turkey Rice, an original dish featuring braised pork stewed in carefully selected spices
4. The hospitality of Mr. Abe, who became the manager of Cafe Olympic six years ago, is also one of the charms of the cafe.
5. Turkish rice is a time-consuming dish to prepare because it contains three different dishes on one plate. The chefs skillfully operate five stoves and cook the rice simultaneously.
6. The shop has a retro Showa-era atmosphere and is crowded with customers of all ages. There is a tatami room at the back of the shop, which is convenient for group supporters.
7. Many of the menu items, such as "Gakuran no Tomo" and "Yume Mitai" (It's Like a Dream), have remained unchanged since the restaurant first opened. The naming sense of the previous owners of the restaurant shines through.
8. The most popular parfait, "Gakuran no Tomo," is a 1cm-sized parfait with eight layers of grape jelly, tiramisu ice cream, and coffee jelly.
9. The famous large-portion parfait and mega Turkish rice were originally created as large dishes for fun, and have grown in size in response to customer requests.
10. Nagasaki Prefecture has the most completed takoyaki in Japan with 1.2m, while Tokyo has the most with 1.0m!
