Tourists can also enjoy the experience of dragonflying
At the Nagasaki Dragon Ball Championship, the public can also try out Dragon Ball! No reservations are necessary and it will be held during the lunch break, and you can even join in on the day! Don't just watch, give Dragon Ball a try!
This tournament is contested by selected teams from each district of Nagasaki, and everyone is serious about it!
The Dragon Championships is Nagasaki's biggest tournament, held on the last weekend of July, where representative athletes selected from regional tournaments gather. At Nagasaki Port, where the tournament is held, shouts of "Yoi-issa! Yoi-issa!" and the sound of bells echo throughout the area. From special spectator seats (800 yen) that are sold on-site on the day, you can see the whole of Nagasaki Port, and enjoy the thrilling moments of the 1150-meter round-trip race. Many spectators gather during the event, and you can't miss the heated cheering battles as people wave their fishing flags and cheer squad flags to cheer on their coworkers and local teams!
