Nagasaki has an exotic feel. As you travel around the world, you may find yourself surrounded by Chinese and Western culture. Especially in the central area, there is a variety of individuality living in a compact area. And for people living in Nagasaki, this is a daily scene. This time, a group of three female friends will be visiting this place. We will show you a variety of ways to spend your time in 3 days and 1 night.

A small moment of happiness brought to you by the scent of bread

Morning of the second day of the Nagasaki trip. On my walk, I came across Chibikoro, a shop that sells homemade natural yeast bread and baked goods. It's a minimalist restaurant that can easily fill up with just 2 to 4 people. Inside the store, you can find cute small breads, tarts, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. The owner, Mr. Tagawa, runs the shop by himself, so the breads he makes are small. However, since I can eat a little bit of different types of bread, I end up picking up all kinds of bread. The bakery also sells accessories handmade by Mr. Tagawa, giving it a lovely feel that is a little different from other bakeries. I was able to find a favorite place that I would love to visit if it was nearby.

Drive up the slopes of Nagasaki on a newly designed slope car

If you come to Nagasaki, you can't miss Mt. Inasa, a typical view spot. "Nagasaki Inasayama Slope Car" was just launched in 2020 and is a new means of transportation that connects the parking lot halfway up Mt. Inasa to the summit. The design was handled by KENOKUYAMA DESIGN, led by industrial designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama. Expectations are high for the stylish space and the structure that allows you to fully enjoy the scenery before reaching the summit. Enjoy the journey to the top, passing through the natural scenery of mountains and the sea during the day and the enveloping night view at night.

Enjoy it with a spectacular view of Mt. Inasa.

After taking the slope car to the observatory, enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant at the top, which was recently renovated this year. Beyond the glass walls, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Nagasaki from every corner. Enjoy the view in front of you from the spacious and comfortable table seats.

We recommend the slightly more elegant version of the ``Inasayama Turkish Rice'' to enjoy in such a great location. These are special dishes that overturn the common image of Turkish rice, such as cheese risotto, fried shrimp wrapped in a unique batter using a French method, and hamburgers made with ingredients from Nagasaki Prefecture. In addition to a la carte, we also offer a variety of course menus, so you can enjoy a wide variety of options. A complete change from the open lunch time, dinner time has a moody atmosphere with the night view and subdued lighting. A new standard spot in Nagasaki has been born that will satisfy your heart and stomach, and will not disappoint in any scene.
*In principle, private rooms are available only when using the chef's choice course.

Nagasaki-made works in collaboration with craftsmen

At the end of a trip where you've fully enjoyed the gourmet food, scenery, and experiences, it's time to choose a wonderful souvenir that will leave you lingering long after you return home. On the 1st floor of Amu Plaza Nagasaki at JR Nagasaki Station, there are many souvenirs ranging from orthodox staples to new series items, but in fact, the apparel brand <Urban Research> on the same floor also sells items for those with high sensitivities. There is a wonderful miscellaneous goods corner that I highly recommend.
"JAPAN MADE PROJECT NAGASAKI" creates products that convey the charm of Nagasaki together with companies and creators in Nagasaki Prefecture. The project that originated from the Nagasaki store has been certified as a "Nagasaki Creation Project" and has also been expanded to several Urban Research stores in major tourist destinations across the country. There are unique, high-quality pieces such as pottery such as tableware and teapots, stained glass as interior decorations and objects, and tenugui towels with designs from the now-talked-about Dinosaur Museum. Try choosing a dish that touches your heart with the intention of bringing back a little bit of the essence you felt during your trip to Nagasaki back to your daily life.
