I visited “Dejima Hosendo”! -1

~Transferring beautiful Japanese culture to the next generation from Dejima, the fan town open to the world~

Providing Nagasaki sake from Dejima!
Machinaka Brewery “Dejima Hosendo”

What is “Dejima Hosendo”?

``Dejima Hosendo'' is located near the tourist spot ``Dejima'' and is Kyushu's first restaurant where you can enjoy alcoholic beverages with a Doburoku brewery attached. Is sake being made in this corner of the city? ?
I was drawn to the store's unexpectedness and the nice atmosphere on the outside, so I decided to take a look inside the store.

Special “Doburoku”

“Doburoku” is an alcoholic beverage that is characterized by its white, cloudy appearance and thick texture that allows you to feel the sweetness of rice.
In addition to the shop's standard product, ``Hosen,'' they also sell doburoku made with seasonal vegetables and fruits for a limited time.
The editorial department's recommendation is "Amazake"!
It's so delicious that even small children can drink it, and it's a popular product that sells out quickly.
If you come to this shop, your concept of Doburoku may completely change! ?

Beautiful vessels to decorate delicious drinks and food

As soon as you pass through the shop's noren curtain, you will find the ``Utsuwa Gallery.''
The carefully selected vessels are tastefully displayed, with a focus on works by contemporary artists.
It's also fun to search for your favorite vessels to match the occasion of your evening drink or meal!

Enjoy an adult bar space with only 6 seats at the counter

In the back space of the store, there is a Sake Bar run by the proprietress.
You can enjoy pairing alcoholic drinks such as Doburoku with fermented snacks.
I can't believe there's such a wonderful space in the back of the store!
There was an "adult hideaway during the daytime" that you couldn't imagine from the entrance.

Take out Amazake Shake and enjoy walking around town

You can enjoy the "Amazake Shake" (!), which is not a milkshake, for takeout.
We, the editorial department, stopped by Dejima Haikara-san's shop on the way to our kimono experience.
There are many recreational spots within walking distance such as Dejima, Shinchi Chinatown, and Mizube no Mori Park, so it's fun to stroll around town with a cold amazake shake in hand!

SPECIAL THANKS! ! "Dejima Hosendo" Mr. and Mrs. Hinata

They were two people who were full of “doburoku love” and had wonderful smiles. Thank you for your cooperation in interviewing and filming!

Please come and enjoy Doburoku at Dejima Hosendo in Nagasaki.
