<Daimon of Suwa Shrine>
Using a large gate photo frameCutting out the scenery of Nagasaki
This time I would like to introduce the ``scenery from the Daimon'' of Suwa Shrine, one of Nagasaki's leading power spots. From the ``Ichi-no-Torii'' gate at the foot of the mountain, you will pass through ``Odoriba'' where Okunchi offerings are held, and then climb the stairs called ``Nagasaka,'' where you will be greeted by the Daimon Gate. When you pass through the gate, you will see the majestic main building of Suwa Shrine. When you look back, you can see the scenery of Nagasaki city. The view looking down from the gate is very emotional, coupled with the feeling of exhaustion and satisfaction from completing the climb. If you take a photo from the Daimon gate, it will look like a photo frame and capture the scenery of Nagasaki. Try including your own silhouette as well.

<Hexagonal road>
A huge tree in the middle of the road! A difficult road even for locals
Behind Suwa Shrine, on the road north of Nagasaki Park, there is a place called ``Rokkakudo''. In the middle of this not-so-wide road, there are seven gigantic camphor trees in a row. These gigantic trees, each said to be hundreds of years old, are actually important sacred trees. This is because this area was once part of Suwa Shrine. This road, which is also used by cars, is quite thrilling because the narrowest parts are less than 7 meters wide. If you're traveling with two or more people, it might be a good idea to shoot a video in the passenger seat. Please be safe while driving.

<Kakidomari Shirahama>
It has a natural scale feel and is sure to be a good choice! Hidden ``emo location''
``Kakidomari Shirahama'' appears after driving for about 30 minutes to the northwest from JR Nagasaki Station. It's close to the city center and has barbecue facilities, so it's a popular hidden beach spot for locals. In fact, it has been used several times as a filming location for movies and dramas. The strangely shaped rock known as ``Apple Rock,'' which has been shaped like an apple that has been chewed by waves, has a great sense of scale when seen up close, and is sure to make for dynamic photos. It is especially recommended to take pictures of the sunset. At the back of Apple Rock is a natural tunnel that is not very deep and resembles a cave. This also looks great in photos.

<Nagasaki City Hall 19th floor observation floor>
Enjoy the unique scenery of NagasakiShin view spot in the middle of the city
A hidden scenic spot in Nagasaki is actually located in Machinaka. it is,Opened in January 2023The observation floor on the 19th floor, the top floor of the new Nagasaki City Hall building. While the scenic spots around the city offer views of the mortar-shaped cityscape from high ground, this observation floor offers a panoramic view of the city from inside a mortar. From the rooftop garden, you can see Nagasaki Port and Megami Ohashi Bridge in the distance, and you can also see Mt. Konpira from the observation space. In fact, beyond the south observation hall (gallery wall), there is also a viewpoint where you can see yourself inside the picture frame. Another good thing is that the observation floor is open at night even though it's the city hall! Enjoy Nagasaki, which is said to be one of the world's new top three night views, compared to the classic night views from Mt. Inasa and Mt. Nabekan.

Special voices of Nagasaki citizens
When I listened to the voices of the citizens, I realized that there was so much Nagasaki that I didn't know. This year, let's go to Nagasaki that you don't know about.
Ryo Takeji
The seven districts in the southern part of Nagasaki City, including Nomozaki, Miwa, Koyagi, Iojima, Takashima, Doikubi, and Fukahori, all face the sea, and each area offers a unique and beautiful view of the sea and sunset. Among them, my favorite place is the sunset seen from Tsurumidai Park No. 7. From this slightly elevated location, you can see the townscape of the Doikubi area, where houses, housing complexes, factories, and Koyagi cranes overlap. The sight of the townscape silhouetted against the madder red sky will make you stop and admire it. I think it's a view that lets you feel the history of the area.

I have many opportunities to go to various places for photography, and I have visited many places in Nagasaki so far. Nagasaki City has many wonderful places, such as nature such as the sea and mountains, as well as historical buildings, but the one I would like to recommend this time is Wakimisaki Beach in the southern part of Nagasaki City! Beautiful in all seasons, the horizon and the sound of the waves will soothe you. It is also a recommended spot for photo weddings and other shoots! I fell in love with it ever since I first visited there for a photoshoot, and I enjoy drinking coffee from the stairs on the beach while relaxing and looking out at the sea, and walking on the sand. I think you can have a great time alone or with your family and friends. I highly recommend you visit once and see the view from there!
