Nagasaki Kyoudogei's song Nagasaki Folk Performing Arts Tournament

The Nagasaki Folk Performing Arts Tournament is held every year to deepen citizens' interest and understanding of the precious traditional performing arts of Nagasaki, and to preserve and pass them on to the next generation.

In Nagasaki City, there are many folk performing arts such as Nagasaki Kunchi and Ukidate from various regions.
They are mainly located in areas around the city that were former territories of the Saga and Omura clans, where agriculture and fishing were the main industries, and a wide variety of folk performing arts have been preserved and inherited.
