Japanese language Mass commemorating the martyrdom of the 26 Japanese Saints

On February 1597, 2, 5 Japanese and 20 foreign Christian missionaries were martyred by being crucified on Nishizaka Hill in Nagasaki. Among them were young Japanese boys such as 6-year-old Ludovico Ibaraki and 12-year-old Tomas Kozaki. Many attendees offer prayers at the commemorative mass.
