◆Mazu procession◆

This is a recreation of the procession that was actually held by the crew of Chinese ships that entered Nagasaki port during the Edo period, before enshrining Mazu, the god of safe navigation, in the Mazu Hall of the Tang Temple. I'm here.

The image is of the Qing Dynasty, when the emperor and empress would go out into town together and celebrate the new year with the people. A total of 100 people including the Emperor and Empress, including the flag corps, parade wearing luxurious Chinese costumes.

◆Erhu performance◆

The erhu is a type of traditional Chinese bowed string instrument, and is characterized by its gentle tone and unique shape. They captivate the crowd with performances of a wide range of genres from jazz to pop.
◆Dragon dance◆

The Dragon Dance is said to have originally begun in China as a ritual to pray for rain and pray for a rich harvest. A group of dragons dressed in Chinese costumes control a dragon body about 20 meters long, and it depicts a dragon trying to summon clouds to make it rain and swallow the moon.
