Nagasaki Hansen Festival Nagasaki Sailing Boat Festival

A sailing event where many sailing ships gather in the port city of Nagasaki!

Nagasaki Port was the only port of trade in Japan during the period of national isolation.

Last year's "2023 Nagasaki Sailing Festival" was a sailing event where numerous domestic and international sailing ships gathered at Nagasaki Port, and three sailing ships, including a large ship, gathered at Nagasaki Port.

At night, the sailboats are illuminated with flags and lights, and the fantastic beauty of the sailboats shines on the sea, captivating visitors. Why not experience the scenery of Nagasaki from the good old days in a space reminiscent of the Nagasaki Port of the days when sailing ships came and went?

It might be a good idea to think about how people at the time of the port's opening were anxiously waiting for sailing ships to enter the port.
