■Business purpose
This project is expected to increase in demand for souvenirs due to the expansion of the number of people interacting with each other due to the attraction of conventions at Dejima Messe Nagasaki, the opening of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen, and the construction of Nagasaki Stadium City. However, the purpose is to support small and medium-sized businesses in the city that are taking on the challenge of developing new products, and to use the effect of the increase in the number of people interacting with each other to increase sales for small and medium-sized businesses in the city.
The Nagasaki City Souvenir Product Development Support Subsidy is for souvenirs that are unique to Nagasaki and that communicate the charms of Nagasaki City to tourists, business travelers, sports spectators, etc. visiting Nagasaki City. This subsidy is provided for the development and improvement of appealing souvenirs that people want to pick up or buy.

■Application qualifications (target people)
Small and medium-sized businesses (including sole proprietorships) with a head office or main business office in the city

■Supported businesses
A New product development business
　Efforts to develop new souvenirs or improve existing souvenirs (limited to food souvenirs)
B Market development business, etc.
　Efforts such as market development in conjunction with new product development business

■Requirements for souvenirs eligible for subsidy
A) It must be a food souvenir.
(b) Souvenirs unique to Nagasaki that make use of the city's history, culture, landscape, tourist attractions, specialty products, and other local resources.

■Subsidy amount and subsidy rate
Subsidy up to 50 yen. Subsidy rate 1/2.
