"DMO NAGASAKI MONTHLY REPORT" is released to inform you about the current state of tourism in Nagasaki. Based on the movement information data and search data of Yahoo Data Solution DS.INSIGHT, you can check the trends and interests of visitors to Nagasaki City.

1. Mobility information data
The number of visitors to Nagasaki City from outside the prefecture was 173,520, an increase of 110% from the previous month and 115% from the same month last year.
-By day, the highest number of cases was on New Year's Eve, December 31st (Tuesday), with 15,060 people.
・By region compared to the same month last year, Hokkaido and Tohoku were 121%, Kanto 130%, Hokuriku and Chubu 130%, Kinki 122%, Chugoku and Shikoku 119%, and Kyushu 106%. Even in the three major cities, Tokyo increased by 3%, Osaka by 120%, and Fukuoka by 118%.

2. Search Volume
-The search volume for "Nagasaki tourism" in December 2024 was 12 people, a decrease of 21,000% from the previous month, but an increase of 98% from the same month last year.
Compared to the same month last year in the three major cities, Tokyo was 3%, Osaka Prefecture was 143%, and Fukuoka Prefecture was 125%.
