"DMO NAGASAKI MONTHLY REPORT" is released to inform you about the current state of tourism in Nagasaki. Based on the movement information data and search data of Yahoo Data Solution DS.INSIGHT, you can check the trends and interests of visitors to Nagasaki City.

Overview

1. Movement information data
・The number of visitors to Nagasaki City from outside the prefecture was 131,920, 112% compared to the previous month and 111% compared to the same month last year.
・By day, the 3th (Sunday), the middle day of a three-day holiday, had the highest number of people, with 16 people.
・Compared to the same month last year by block, the number increased in all blocks: Hokkaido/Tohoku 120%, Kanto 110%, Hokuriku Shinetsu/Chubu 107%, Kinki 115%, Chugoku/Shikoku 116%, Kyushu/Okinawa 110%, with an increase in all three major cities. The number increased by 3% in Tokyo, 109% in Osaka, and 109% in Fukuoka.

2. Search volume for “Nagasaki tourism”
・23,800 people, 100% compared to the previous month, and 112% compared to the same month last year.
・On the other hand, compared to the same month in 2019, it was 84%, and has not returned to the pre-coronavirus level.
・Compared to the same month last year in the three major cities, there was a slight increase in Osaka (3%), and a decrease in Tokyo (101%) and Fukuoka (97%).
