"DMO NAGASAKI MONTHLY REPORT" is released to inform you about the current state of tourism in Nagasaki. Based on the movement information data and search data of Yahoo Data Solution DS.INSIGHT, you can check the trends and interests of visitors to Nagasaki City.

Overview

●The new coronavirus has been moved to Category 5, the same as seasonal influenza, from May 8th (Monday) after Golden Week.
●In May 2023, the number of visitors to Nagasaki City from outside the prefecture was 5, 180,500% compared to last month and 123% compared to the same month last year.
●Compared to the same month last year by block, sales increased in all blocks: 139% in Hokkaido/Tohoku, 121% in Kanto, 168% in Hokuriku-Shinetsu/Chubu, 132% in Kinki, 129% in Chugoku/Shikoku, and 116% in Kyushu/Okinawa.
●Search volume was 28,500 people, 95% compared to last month and 103% compared to the same month last year. Compared to the same month last year in the three major cities, Tokyo was 3%, Osaka Prefecture was 100%, and Fukuoka Prefecture was 100%.
