April 2023 Monthly Report

1. Movement information data
・The number of visitors to Nagasaki City from outside the prefecture was 151,130, 97% compared to the previous month and 94% compared to the same month last year.
・By day, the 4th (Saturday), the middle day of the three-day weekend, had the highest number of people, with 7,360 people.
・Compared to the same month last year by block, sales were below the previous year in all blocks: 98% in Hokkaido/Tohoku, 90% in Kanto, 96% in Hokuriku-Shinetsu/Chubu, 83% in Kinki, 90% in Chugoku/Shikoku, and 98% in Kyushu/Okinawa. Among the three cities, 3% were in Tokyo, 96% in Osaka, and 79% in Fukuoka.

    
2. Search volume for “Nagasaki tourism”
・In January 2023, the search volume for "Nagasaki sightseeing" was 11 people, 22,100% compared to the previous month and 101% compared to the same month last year. 
・Also, compared to the same month in 2019, it was 85%, and has not returned to the pre-coronavirus level.
- Compared to the same month last year in the three major cities, Tokyo was 3%, Osaka Prefecture 91%, and Fukuoka Prefecture 86%, all below the previous year.
