・The number of visitors in November 2021 increased by 11% compared to the previous month (October).

・Although it was slightly lower than the same month last year during the GoTo campaign period, the number of visitors from metropolitan areas, mainly in the Kanto region, was on the rise, boosting the overall result.

・Major tourist spots were also crowded, especially on weekends, with the increase rate exceeding 30% at Glover Garden, Mt. Inasa, and Nomozaki, where the Dinosaur Museum opened.

・The increase in visitors is thought to be due to an increase in tourism sentiment due to a significant decrease in the number of new coronavirus infections per month (less than 1/10 of the same month last year). In addition, students on school trips, which had been showing signs of increasing since October, can be seen strolling around the town in various places, making November a time when people can feel the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Monthly Topic (This month's noteworthy data)
