Overview

The number of visitors and searches are both increasing as the number of new coronavirus infections decreases. In particular, the number of searches reached its highest since November 2020.
Judging from past trends, a further increase in the number of visitors is expected in November.


・The number of visitors this month increased by 44% compared to last month. Looking at the results by area, the number of visitors exceeded that of September in all areas, showing a return of visitors to major tourist spots such as Mt. Inasa, the Glover Garden area, and the Dejima area.

・In addition, in Minami-Nagasaki, where the Nagasaki City Dinosaur Museum, which opened on October 10th, is located, the surrounding area was confirmed to be crowded, with an increase of 29% compared to September 2020, which was during the GoTo Travel period. .

・This is due to a sense of psychological security resulting from the complete lifting of the state of emergency at the end of September, a significant decrease in the number of new coronavirus infections, and an increase in vaccination rates, as well as a corresponding rise in travel sentiment. It is inferred. In fact, the number of searches increased by 9% compared to last month. The increase rate from September to October 79 was 2020%, so this year's increase rate exceeded that of 9.
