Town MICE project (promoting the use of unique venues)
By holding events such as receptions in special places (unique venues) where you can feel the uniqueness of Nagasaki, such as cultural properties, historic buildings, shopping streets, parks, and beaches, we will be able to hold events centered around Nagasaki Station. In addition to promoting the ``city's ability to circulate,'' we are working to increase the satisfaction of organizers and participants.
What is Machi MICE?
Nagasaki City is working to attract MICE participants into the city, increase their length of stay and spend, and spread the effects of holding MICE throughout the city.
For MICE organizers and participants, we will expand reception venues that give a feel of Nagasaki's uniqueness using historical buildings, and experiential programs that make use of local resources to enjoy excursions and stays, as well as participant satisfaction. We aim to improve students' abilities and promote excursions and stays.
In addition, we will further deepen the understanding of MICE among citizens and businesses, leading to active participation and expanding business opportunities.
