Design concept:
“Winds of exchange will lead the world to a more peaceful and prosperous future.”

 

The four Dejima shapes represent the will of Nagasaki City MICE to inherit the DNA (spiral) of exchange, including Nagasaki's people, history, culture, and heritage.
That will becomes a windmill that brings about change (wind) in society, and it transforms into a bird (pigeon) that leads the world to a more peaceful and prosperous future.
As for the symbol colors, we chose blue, which is reminiscent of the sky and sea of ​​Nagasaki, which is connected to the world, and red, which is reminiscent of Japan and represents the body temperature (heat) of exchange.
