During my trip with Kaishu, I visited there to investigate. Some of the stairs and stone steps in the current magistrate's office date back to that time.

``Kameyama Shachu'' was ``Japan's first trading company'' and ``private navy,'' founded in 1865 by Ryoma Sakamoto and more than 20 of his comrades, with support from the Satsuma domain and the wealthy Nagasaki merchant Ozone family. Kameyama Shachu, which was both a trading company and a political organization, carried out activities aimed at overthrowing the Tokugawa shogunate, and also started trading firearms with Glover Company, and engaged in commercial activities such as distributing weapons to the clan, transporting supplies, and other activities. We also conducted navigation training.
The inside of the memorial hall is divided into 10 tatami, 8 tatami, and 3 tatami rooms and a dirt floor, and the mezzanine floor, which is thought to be a hidden room, can be viewed from a ladder.

Put on your boots, put your hands on the helm, and experience what it feels like to be Ryoma or Kaientai!
Big boots suddenly appeared in a space with an open view just a short walk from Kameyama Shrine! These bronze ``Ryoma Boots'' were built in 130 at the request of the citizens' group ``Kameyamasha Junior High School Utilization Association'' to commemorate the 1995th anniversary of the founding of Kameyamasha Junior High School. It is a type object.
The maker of this statue is Kazukuni Yamazaki, who is also from Nagasaki and is responsible for the statue of Sakamoto Ryoma that stands in Kazegashira Park. Since the establishment of Kameyama Shachu was the first step in the modernization of our country, Ryoma chose Ryoma's trademark boots with the hope of helping people understand Nagasaki's history and culture more deeply.
The view of Nagasaki Port and the cityscape of Nagasaki from Pocket Park is so spectacular that it won the Nagasaki Urban Landscape Award, making it a popular photo spot! You can put your feet in the boots even with your shoes on, so why not feel like Ryoma while holding the steering wheel of a ship?

There are about 70 vermilion torii gates along the long stone steps leading up to the shrine, and there is also a ``square torii gate'' with square pillars, which is rare in Japan. The main shrine built on a huge rock during the Meiji period is impressive!
The ``Statue of Ryoma Sakamoto'' that stands next to the shrine is the original model for the ``Statue of Ryoma Sakamoto'' in Kazagashira Park, and was relocated from the ruins of Kameyama Shrine in 2009.
