Day 1
Glover Garden

Glover Garden
Experience the spectacular view of Nagasaki Port that even great figures were fascinated by!

Approximately 40 extras, including local high school students who played students on the school trip, participated at Glover Garden, and scenes such as Yuri holding Touma back were filmed. Since the local extras were from the Kanto region, they were careful not to use the Nagasaki dialect in conversation.

Glover Garden is located on Minami-Yamate Hill, overlooking the panoramic view of Nagasaki Port, and is one of Nagasaki's most popular sightseeing spots, full of exotic atmosphere.
Six Western-style buildings from the Meiji period that were scattered around the city have been relocated and restored, mainly the former Glover House, former Ringer House, and former Orto House, all of which are nationally designated important cultural properties. The stone pavements and stone steps that retain the vestiges of the settlement era further enhance the atmosphere of history and culture. Every part of the park is decorated with flowers, and no matter where you look, it's a picturesque space.

From the park, you can see the Higashi-Yamate townscape, including Western-style houses and the Confucius Temple, as well as Nagasaki Port, and Oura Observation Park is lit up at night. The beautiful night view of Nagasaki, one of the world's three most beautiful cities, can be seen below.

Holland Hill

Holland Hill
The stone-paved slopes of the Higashi-Yamate area, a remnant of a foreign settlement and filled with an exotic atmosphere

It appeared as a school trip scene for Futaba's classmates Shuko, Kominato, and Yuri.

Holland Hill is a stone-paved slope located in the Higashi-Yamate district, which is lined with Western-style houses and has an exotic atmosphere.
In Nagasaki, the only area of trade in Japan during the Edo period, non-Oriental people were still called "Dutch-san" even after the country was opened, perhaps due to the influence of the Dutch living in Dejima. For this reason, it is thought that at that time all slopes in foreign settlements were called Dutch slopes, meaning ``the slopes that Dutch people pass through''. Currently, the slopes below Katsusui Women's University, Katsumizuzaka, and the slope in front of Seikoin Temple are mainly called Oranda Slope.

[Lunch] Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown
Enjoy gourmet food and shopping in Japan's three major Chinatowns!

If you want to eat Nagasaki Chinese food, this is the place! Although it is not a movie filming location, why not try some delicious Nagasaki Chinese food for lunch?

Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown is one of Japan's three major Chinatowns, along with Yokohama and Kobe.
It is a popular tourist spot with easy access, arriving in less than 10 minutes on the tram from JR Nagasaki Station. It was built by reclaiming land from the sea in the mid-Edo period to build a warehouse for trade goods from China.

Approximately 250 stores, including Chinese restaurants, Chinese sweets, and Chinese miscellaneous goods, are lined up along the crossroads, which is about 40 meters long from east to west and north to south.

How about eating cute-looking Chinese sweets and braised manju while enjoying the exotic cityscape?
Nagasaki's famous ``champon'' and ``sara udon'' have unique flavors at each store, so we recommend trying them out and comparing them!
Chinese grocery stores have a wide variety of products, including ingredients directly imported from Shanghai and Hong Kong, so you'll have fun choosing souvenirs.

Meganebashi Bridge is said to have been built in 1634 by Zen Master Mokusu Nyojo of Kofukuji Temple. When the water level is low, you can use the stairs to go down to the river's edge and stroll along the water's edge. Heart stones located along the Nakashima River embankment, including Megane Bridge, are attracting attention as power spots for fulfilling love, so be sure to look for them when you visit.

Scenes surrounding Kou's past were filmed here. Everyone was surprised at the length of the slopes in Nagasaki! Apparently, this was one scene in which he survived through a battle of physical strength.
Also, in the art room of Nagasaki Junior High School, the scene where Futaba discovers the words Kou wrote on the desk was filmed.
*You cannot normally enter Nagasaki Junior High School.

But that's exactly why it's youth.''

Inasayama Observation Deck

Inasayama Observation Deck
Enjoy the romantic night view that shines as one of the world's new top three night views

It is a landmark of Nagasaki City and a popular photogenic spot that is crowded with people watching the night view.
When visiting filming locations, we recommend visiting on the morning of the actual filming! From Inasayama Kanko Hotel, head there by taxi or rental car. On location, the staff began preparations at 2 a.m. at Mt. Inasa Observation Deck to capture the sunrise scene. The observatory, which is usually closed, was opened early with the cooperation of local people. Also, although the photo was taken in May, even though it was spring, the temperature at the top of the mountain was 5 degrees Celsius. It seems that the entire cast and staff braved the cold to go on location! The climactic scene was filmed here. The scene where their faces were illuminated by the light and the sun began to rise was moving.
