Nagasaki Kencho [Barrier-free] Nagasaki Prefectural Office

The prefectural office building, which was newly constructed in 30, has an open entrance with an atrium and an observation terrace on the 8th floor that overlooks Nagasaki Port and the city, making it a facility where everyone can easily drop by. It is located in the center of Nagasaki city, about a 10-minute walk from JR Nagasaki Station and the Gotocho tram stop on the Nagasaki Electric Tramway. The facility is barrier-free and has a multi-purpose restroom, so it is also a recommended spot for those using wheelchairs.

The government building is barrier-free. You can take the elevator to the observation terrace, which is also recommended for wheelchair users.

There are two multipurpose restrooms on the first floor. We also have foldable multi-purpose seats for changing adult diapers and facilities for ostomates, so please feel free to use them.

The observation terrace on the 8th floor offers a panoramic view of Nagasaki Port and Nagasaki City. Especially recommended on sunny days. However, the observation terrace on the 8th floor has swinging and sliding doors, which are heavy to prevent strong winds. If you are in a wheelchair, it is difficult to open and close it by yourself, so you will need someone to help you.
