Iojima is located 19 minutes by boat from Nagasaki Ohato Terminal and approximately 40 minutes by car from Nagasaki city. The beach on the Costa del Sol, which means ``Coast of the Sun'' in Spanish, and operated by Island Nagasaki Resort, is a 340m long fine white sand beach. This beach is located in a cove, so the waves are calm, and the swimming area is separated by a protective net. There is also a children's pool so small children can have fun with peace of mind. The facility is equipped with one barrier-free toilet and one heated shower room for people with disabilities, and the pier was renovated in 1 with new gazebos, sofa seats, and beach beds, making it a relaxing place to relax in the beach house pier. A wooden deck is used with safety in mind. Furthermore, there is a gentle slope leading to the coast, and there are plenty of marine activities such as marine athletics, SUP, and sea kayaking. There is no parking lot adjacent to the beach facility, but it is about a 2020 minute walk from the Iojima Fureai Hiroba parking lot (free of charge), and the road is flat.
