Yataro/Yatarou Minamikan [Barrier-free] Yataro/Yataro South Building
This hotel is built on a hill overlooking the cityscape of Nagasaki. The main building and south building are located next to each other. Nearby tourist attractions include Kazegashira Park, where the bronze statue of Sakamoto Ryoma stands, Kameyama Shrine, the Nagasaki Kite Museum, and Ueno, where Japan's first commercial photographer took many portraits of famous people from the end of the Edo period and the Meiji Restoration period, including Ryoma. There is also the grave of Hikoma. There are 35 Japanese-style rooms and 25 twin rooms in the main building, ``Yataro,'' and 112 Japanese-style rooms, 18 Western-style rooms, 2 Japanese-Western rooms, and 1 special room in the ``Yataro South Building.'' The Western-style room has a unit bath and there is a 20cm step at the entrance. There is also a step at the entrance to the Japanese-style room, but the staff will assist you, so please feel free to ask. There are also Japanese and Western banquet halls and rooms that can be used for meetings. There are also three types of bathhouses, including an open-air bath and an observation bath where you can enjoy the night view of Nagasaki. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel that can accommodate about 3 cars. There is no designated parking lot for people with disabilities, but please ask our staff and they will direct you to the closest parking lot to the entrance. Wheelchairs, which can only be used within the hotel, can be rented at the hotel reception.
