The Nagasaki Port Terminal Building in Motofune-cho, Nagasaki City is Nagasaki's maritime gateway, where regular passenger ships depart from and arrive at the Goto Islands, Io Island, Takashima, and other destinations. It also serves as the departure and arrival point for the Nagasaki Port Pleasure Boat and the Gunkanjima Pleasure Boat, making it popular among prefectural residents and tourists alike. In addition to being available for written communication at the ticket counter, if you wish to board the ship in a wheelchair, please inform the staff at the ticket counter and the shipping company staff will help you board the ship. The building's unique exterior nickname, ``Big Bit,'' means ``giant mooring pile,'' and it was designed by world-famous architect Shin Takamatsu. Nearby, there are large shopping centers such as ``Yumesaito'', ``Dejima Wharf'', and ``Prefectural Museum of Art'' all surrounding the port, and there is also an event venue called ``Okunchi Hiroba'' right in front of you.

The passenger waiting room on the second floor offers a panoramic view of Nagasaki Port, Mt. Inasa, and the Mitsubishi Shipyard. There are stairs from the mezzanine floor to the second floor, but there is a lift, so if you ask the staff, you can use the elevator with your wheelchair to use the waiting room.
