Minamiyama Teles and House [Barrier-free] Minamiyamate Rest House

　

It is a unique building that uses a combination of wooden and stone pillars, and after Nagasaki City purchased the land and house as a traditional building, conservation and repair work was carried out on it. Since then, the Minami-Yamate Rest House near Glover Garden has been opened to the public as a facility where residents and tourists can casually take a break. Inside the museum, materials related to the former settlement are displayed, and you can watch old photos and videos about the history of Nagasaki. From the front gate, you can see a panoramic view of Oura Cathedral and Nagasaki Port, and from the garden you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the hilly city of Nagasaki. A ramp has been installed at the entrance of the facility, allowing people in wheelchairs to tour and take a break. There is also a barrier-free restroom next door, and staff are always on hand, so you don't have to worry.
