Tateyama Koen [Barrier-free] Tateyama Park
This park is located 1 km east of Nagasaki Station, on a hilly area that straddles Tateyama and Nishiyama Town. This park has an observation deck, a multipurpose plaza, and a play plaza. The view from the observatory deck overlooks the cityscape and port of Nagasaki, and children can enjoy playing equipment such as a long roller slide. In spring, 700 cherry trees bloom in full bloom, making it a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing. The parking lot is adjacent to the park, and there are two barrier-free restrooms within the park. The walking paths in the park are a little uneven, but they are designed so that people in wheelchairs can enjoy the walk.
