Higashi Yamate Koju Sanbankan [Barrier-free] Higashiyama Tekou Jusanbankan

 

Higashiyama Tekou Jusanbankan building, which is located along Oranda Slope, is a nationally registered tangible cultural property. It was built as a rental house around 27, and was inhabited by British and American residents, and from the early to mid-Showa period, French representative consul Andre Boucri lived here. Admission is free, and there is also a tourist information corner, cafe corner, and souvenir sales corner. The path from Oranda Slope is cobblestoned and uneven, and there are steps at the facility entrance and room entrance. However, the rest room has a flat floor and a stylized toilet.

Transportation access [Tram] Take the train bound for "Shogakuji Shita", get a transfer ticket at "Tsukimachi" and get off. Transfer to Ishibashi and get off at Shimin Hyoin-mae, then walk for about 7 minutes.
[Route bus] Nagasaki bus: Take a bus heading south through Shinchi Terminal, including Kabashima, Dialand, and Fukahori, and get off at Shimin Hospital-mae. About 7 minutes walk.
