The long history [Barrier-free] Nagai Takashi Memorial Museum

 

Dr. Takashi Nagai continued to advocate and pray for lasting peace through love of neighbor. The Nagasaki Takashi Nagai Memorial Hall was established to long commemorate Dr. Nagai's spirit and achievements, to honor his virtues, and to continue to widely disseminate his wishes together with Nyokodo. The first floor is an exhibition room and the second floor is a library.

    Nyokodo was used as a study and hospital room until May 1951, 26, when he passed away at the age of 5. You can see right in front of the doctor's residence, where he lived with his two children, in a space of just two tatami mats.

Admission is free for the person with a disability certificate and one caregiver who resides in the city.
